Two hundred eighteen degrees were awarded at the Penn State Abington summer/fall commencement ceremony on Dec. 17, 2021.

A high-achieving Penn State Abington student will graduate a semester early this week, crediting the academic and financial support she received through the Pathway to Success: Summer Start and scholarships for her success. 

The Barnes & Noble campus bookstore gift cards are awarded to Penn State Abington students who receive federal Pell Grants due to exceptional financial need. About 38% of Abington students are eligible for Pell Grants. 

The scholarships will support those with financial need as well as students in the RN to B.S.N. program at Penn State Abington.

This GivingTuesday, Nov. 30, alumni and friends are invited to make a gift to support Penn State Abington’s three priorities: scholarships, athletics, and the library’s Open Educational Resources initiative. The sites are open now through midnight on Nov. 30. 

The skills Amy Pertuset learned at Penn State Abington gave her the confidence and the skills to showcase her technical prowess while working in several units of The Walt Disney Co.   

Explore, network and learn during a weeklong celebration of entrepreneurship, which begins Nov. 8. 

Ninety percent of Penn State Abington employees and 57% of students are fully vaccinated.

Effective at 8 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 5, masking will be required indoors for all vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals on Penn State Abington’s campus in Montgomery County, in accordance with the latest CDC guidelines.
